Why should I join Netverdix online panel?
- There are many different reasons to join. Most panelists feel “making their opinions count” is the number one reason for joining our panel. Unlike other panel companies, we offer CASH for every completed qualifying survey. We also offer monthly and yearly cash drawings! We combine your opinions with those of other panelists and provide our clients with your individual thoughts, what you want and why.
How do I become a member?
- To become a member of the panel, just click on Join Now. You will be asked for your name, email address, birthdate and to choose a password. Once this information is submitted, our system will email you a confirmation email. Simply click on the link in that email and you will be redirected to your sign-in page. Please sign-in with your email address and your chosen password. After you sign-in to your panelist page, you will be redirected to a "My Details" section. This section will ask a few basic informational questions such as gender and mailing address. We require a mailing address in order for us to process your Netverdix payment checks for your survey incentive earnings. Once you have completed the "My Details" section and submitted your information, you will see a link to our General Profile on the right side of your panelist page. You MUST fill out the General Profile in order to activate your membership. You are NOT a member of the Netverdix panel until you have completed both the Registration and General Profiles. Once your General Profile has been completed, additional targeted profiles will become available for you to fill out. These profiles will qualify you for more surveys. You will begin receiving survey invitations. Please set your email controls to accept email from admin@panelmail.netverdix.com. The survey invitations will include a personalized link that will take you directly to your survey. Once you have qualified and then completed a survey, your Panel User Account page will update with your current cash earnings.
Where can I find surveys posted on your website?
- We will always send you an email invitation when a new survey has been posted for which you qualify. If you wish to check our website for new surveys, you must be a member AND sign-in to your personal Panelist Page. On your Personal Panelist page there will be an area devoted to “Available Surveys”.
How do I know when I’ve been selected to participate in a survey? Does every panelist get an invitation to participate in a survey?
- If you are selected to participate in a survey, we will send you an email invitation. The email message will include a link to the online survey. To access the survey, you may click on the link or copy and paste the survey URL in the invitation into your browser, or you may sign-in to your Personal Panelist Page and a survey link will be available within the section "Available Surveys". Not every panelist is invited to every survey. However, we conduct many surveys a month and use your panelist profiles to help us qualify you for a survey. REMEMBER, the more profiles you fill out, the more survey opportunities there may be for you. We will always contact you via email when new surveys are available that align with your profile(s).
Why do I need to complete a Registration & General Profile survey? Why should I complete the other profile surveys?
- The Registration & General Profile surveys help us locate surveys that are most suited to your interests, characteristics and location. We use the information provided in your profile to qualify you for specific surveys. In addition, your profile surveys help us create consumer groupings that best represent the entire population. We also use your address information to process our incentive payment checks. We pay by check and mail all survey incentive earnings to the address with which you registered. All profile information is used for classification and statistical purposes, and is reported on an aggregated basis. This means that all information is combined with other panel member’s information into similar groupings. We will never release any personally identifiable information to any third party or client. All data is stripped of any personally identifiable information and only your opinions are shared with our clients.
Will you sell my email address?
- No, we do not share or sell our email lists. For more detailed information about how we use your personal information, please visit our Privacy Policy section. We are committed to respecting your privacy.
Why do you ask for information about other members of my household?
- Learning about the other members of your household helps us to give an accurate profile of the Internet population as a whole. It is very important to know what the average household looks like.
Can I join the panel and win prizes if I am not a U.S. citizen? How do I change the language in which I view the Netverdix online research site and receive surveys?
- YES, we encourage anyone to sign up for our panel! Our surveys, cash incentives and cash drawings are open to all panelists regardless of citizenship or geographic location. Currently our surveys are only available to those who speak English. We do not currently offer our surveys in any other language than English. Our payments are also made in U.S. ($) funds, payable by check, and we follow IRS guidelines for reporting income.
Can other members of my household become panelists?
- Yes, other members of your household may join our panel. However, they must have their own email address. They may register for our panel by clicking on Join Now and filling out their own Registration Profile. Invitations to participate in our surveys will be sent to their individually specified email address.
Is there a cost to join?
- NO! Participation in the Netverdix panel is completely free and voluntary. We will never ask you to purchase or subscribe to anything and you may choose to unsubscribe at any time. There is no charge to join. In fact, we pay you to participate in our surveys!
Who will see my profile survey answers? How does Netverdix and its clients use the answers I provide?
- Netverdix reports all of our profile survey results on an aggregated basis. This means that all information is combined with other panel member’s information into similar groupings. Our clients represent some of the top companies throughout the world. The information you provide to us and that we provide to them is not analyzed on an individual basis. Netverdix strips all personally identifiable information (i.e. email, address, name, etc.) from the results provided to our clients. We only share the summarized information with our clients in order to help them make informed business decisions and to better understand your (the consumer’s) needs and opinions. Some of these results are used to understand what features consumers look for in specific products or services. Some companies wish to understand the marketplace and economic condition that affect the consumers’ buying choices. In some cases, our clients would like to know what kinds of product packaging consumers’ prefer or what sorts of advertisements or commercials most appeal to you, the consumer. Your opinions help clients address a wide range of business issues.
Does Netverdix provide incentives for participation in surveys? How does Netverdix pay members’ for participation in surveys?
- Yes, we provide CASH incentives for all qualifying completed surveys. Netverdix pays our panelists for their opinions. We offer both cash rewards and monthly and yearly cash drawings. Unlike other panel companies that offer prizes, points or non-cash rewards, Netverdix offers CASH for all qualified surveys. You, the consumer, provide a valuable service to us by sharing your opinions. We, in turn, wish to reward you for your time and effort. Every survey invitation will have a cash value clearly stated in the original email invitation and if you successfully qualify and complete that survey, you will be paid that stated cash amount. If you do not qualify for a survey, you will be entered into our monthly drawing. From time to time you may be invited to respond to a Netverdix "Hot Topic" short survey. For your participation in the "Hot Topic" survey you will receive an automatic entry for one of the monthly drawings. For every ten surveys, qualified or not, you will be entered into our yearly drawing. At the end of every month, Netverdix will mail you a check for the amount you earned in the previous month for qualified completed surveys. (For example, if you qualified for and completed a survey in February, your payment will be processed at the end of the month of March) You may track earning in your Panelist Account that resides within your Personal Panelist Page. Monthly drawings are run at the end of each month and our yearly drawing is run at the end of the year. The winners of the monthly and yearly drawings will be notified by email, and the drawing checks will be mailed independently from your monthly survey earnings check. If you do not qualify for a survey, don’t be discouraged. There are many survey opportunities waiting!
How do I enter the monthly and yearly drawing?
- If you attempt to take a study, but do not qualify, you are automatically entered into our monthly drawing. You receive one entry for every survey you are disqualified from. For every TEN surveys you take, whether you qualify or not, you receive one entry into our yearly drawing. From time to time you may be invited to respond to a Netverdix "Hot Topic" short survey. For your participation in the "Hot Topic" survey you will receive an automatic entry for one of the monthly drawings. The winners of the monthly and yearly drawings will be notified by email and the drawing checks will be mailed independently from the monthly survey earnings check. In some instances, such as the yearly drawing, we require the panel member to fill out some IRS forms in order to receive the check.
I joined the panel but have not received any surveys to take.
- Sometimes it may take a while to match your data with an appropriate study. We encourage you to fill out all the available profile surveys in order to qualify for the largest number of surveys. The more information we have, the more we are able to target surveys to you that fit your profile.
How long do I have to complete a survey?
- Each survey is different but every survey is closed when we have reached the pre-determined number of panelists. The number of panelist required varies from survey to survey. We suggest you take the survey as soon as possible and recommend that you register using an email address you check frequently.
I spent a lot of time answering questions and was then told that I do not qualify for the survey.
- Most surveys contain what we call “screener” questions. These questions allow our clients to ensure they are receiving ONLY those panelists that match their demographic requirements. However, you, the panelist, are important to us. Therefore, if any series of screener questions is deemed too long, we will pay a cash incentive for your time, even if you don’t qualify. It should be noted that not all surveys will offer a cash incentive for the screener questions. This will be explained in the survey invitation that is emailed to you. If we offer a cash incentive for the screener of a survey, this will be clearly outlined in the email invitation.
Why was the survey so short? It ended after only a few questions.
- Each survey contains “screener” questions. For most surveys, we want to have a good representation of different age/gender groups, etc. However, each group contains a set number of needed participants in order to avoid over or under representing particular groups. You either did not meet that specific group or were part of a group that has met its quota. You were “screened-out” of the survey. However, there are many other survey opportunities waiting for you. Please check your email often for more invitations to surveys.
Why was the survey closed when I went to take it?
- There are two possible reasons that a survey was closed when you clicked on the link to take the study. Occasionally, surveys fill very quickly and meet their demographic quota quicker than anticipated, OR the email invitation you clicked on was for an older study that has been closed for a while. Either way, we apologize if the survey was closed when you went to take it. You may sign-in to your Personal Panelist Page to check for more survey opportunities or check your email for more invitations.
The survey I am taking asks me for information that you previously asked for in my registration and other profiles. Why do I need to provide that information again?
- We want to be sure that we have correct and most accurate information about you and your household. Sometimes we may ask you to repeat information contained in your registration and other profiles in order to assure that our information is correct.
How does Netverdix notify drawing winners?
- As soon as the winners are selected, Netverdix will send an email message to notify them. We ask each winner to reply to the message to confirm receipt of the notification and to verify their mailing address. If a panel member fails to respond to the message by a specific date, we reserve the right to choose an alternate winner for the drawing.
What are my odds of winning a monthly or yearly drawing?
- The chances of winning are based on the number of responses/entries we receive for the surveys. The more surveys you take, the more chances you have to win.
How do I update my email address? How do I update the information I included in my profiles?
- Just go to the homepage and sign-in using your (old) email address and password. Once you sign-in to your Personal Panelist Page, simply click on the "My Details" tab to update any of the following information: name, email address or home address. You may change the information in the "My Details" section at any time simply by signing into your account.
- The profiles are available every few months for updating. Once you have completed a profile, the information is entered into our database. After a predetermined period of time, the profile will become available for updates by reappearing in the right-hand section of your Personal Panelist Page.
I recently took a survey but my personal Panelist Account shows a zero balance.
- Not all surveys will be automatically updated to your Panelist Account. While we would like to have your account balance remain as accurate as possible, some surveys may take 2 to 4 weeks to credit to your account. If you still feel there is an error, please contact Panelist Account Services at panelistaccounting@netverdix.com. If possible, please include the survey link (from email) for the survey that has not been credited. If the survey link is unavailable, please provide as much information as possible about the survey. A Panel Service Representative will respond within 24 hours.
I tried to take the survey and received the message “I’m sorry, but you have already completed this survey”.
- We only allow one survey submission per email address. Please contact us at panelistservice@netverdix.com if you feel you have received this message in error. Please copy and paste the entire link you are using into the email.
I am uncomfortable with the questions in this survey. I do not feel this survey is appropriate for me.
- All surveys are optional. Your membership is voluntary and we will not force you to take a survey. You can always choose to not participate in a specific survey. There will be plenty of other opportunities waiting for you and we will keep you posted on future surveys.
I tried to hit the “back” button on a survey and it will not let me return to a previous a question.
- Unfortunately, some surveys have the “back” button functionality disabled. This is done to protect the integrity of the data we collect. Please make sure to double-check your answers before hitting the “submit” or “next” buttons.
How long does it take to complete a survey?
- Each survey length varies from project to project. Your email invitation will state the estimated length of each survey. However, some factors, such as connection speed, can affect the time it takes to take each study.
The survey is taking longer than I expected and I do not have time to finish right now. Can I take it again later? What should I do?
- Some surveys will allow you to re-enter again later and pick up where you left off and other surveys may not have this option. This option is on a survey by survey basis and we cannot guarantee that any survey will be available for completion at a later time.
I have not received my check yet.
- All Panelist User Accounts are processed on the first day of the month. Netverdix currently has a one month administrative payment processing period. Payments processing is always processed one month from the month that the survey was completed, a one month delay. (For example: Surveys completed in February will be processed at the end of March.) Panelist User Accounts over $2.00 are zeroed out on the first day of the new month. Panelist Accounts under $2.00 will roll over to the next payment period. Netverdix currently process checks only for Panelist Accounts with amounts greater than $2.00. Checks are processed and mailed during the first two weeks of the month. If you have not received your check by the end of the fourth week of the new month, please contact Panelist Check Support at panelistaccounting@netverdix.com. Please provide your registered email address, name and mailing address. All international panel members will receive a check drawn on a U.S. bank.
My account has not updated. My Panelist Account does not show the cash incentive for the survey I just took.
- Some surveys do not show immediate updates. It may take 2 to 4 weeks to update your account. If you were told that the account would immediately update, try hitting the “refresh” button at the top of your Internet browser window. If you feel there is an error, please contact us at panelistaccounting@netverdix.com. When possible, please provide the survey link (from the original email) for the survey that has not been credited to your account. If the survey link is not available, please provide as much information as possible about the survey, including the date you completed the survey. A Panel Services Representative will respond to you within 24 hours.
Do my Panlist Account cash rewards expire?
-
No! Panelist Accounts do not expire unless fraudulent activity has occurred. If fraud is suspected, your entire Panelist Account will be deactivated. The Panelist Accounts will stay active for the duration of your membership as long as you remain an active participant in our panel (respond on a regular basis to survey invitations). If a Panelist Account has remained inactive for one year (non-responsive), Netverdix will move the account to an inactive status and send you a check for the remaining earning owned. If you wish to reactivate your inactive Panelist Account you may contact panelistservices@netverdix.com. If you choose to unsubscribe from Netverdix, your account will be zeroed out and a check mailed to you for the remaining balance.
How can I see my payment history/account cash history?
- Once you sign-in to your Personal Panelist Page, you may click on the “drawing” or "reward" tab options. This will provide an up-to-date accounting of all surveys you have participated in and all surveys pending payment or in “paid” status. If you have further questions regarding your payment history and/or account history, you may contact us at panelistaccounting@netverdix.com.
How do I unsubscribe/delete/cancel my account?
- To unsubscribe from our panel, please sign-in to your account and click on the “Unsubscribe” option.
I forgot my username and password
- Netverdix does not use usernames. Your username is always the email address you provided in your Registration Profile. If you have forgotten your password, please click the “Forgot Password” link on the sign-in page. Your password will be emailed to you. If your email address has changed and you have also forgotten your password, please contact us at panelistservice@netverdix.com. We will ask you some security questions (based upon the answers provided in your General Profile) in order to generate a new password.
What information is recorded during my visit to Netverdix surveys?
- When you visit Netverdix, our web servers may record the name of your Internet Service Provider (ISP), the website from which you visit us and the date and duration of your visit. Some data is also partially collected by “cookies”. Most web browsers will automatically accept “cookies”. However, your web browser may be programmed so that your computer will not accept “cookies”. You always have the option to deny the installation of “cookies” on your computer. Netverdix primarily uses “session based cookies”. These are generally used in assisting the navigation of the site and are only stored in the working memory of your computer. It is generally deleted off of your computer after you close your browser.
When I entered my email address to sign-in to my account, I received a message that said “I’m sorry this email does not match our record”. Why do I get this message?
- You must wait to receive our welcome email and click on the link provided in that email in order to activate your account. If the activation link provided in the “welcome” email is not clicked, your account is not activated and you are not added to our database. Please check your email account for the welcome email. If you are still having problems, please contact us at panelistservice@netverdix.com, and provide the email address which you are using to sign-in/register with.
Does Netverdix host/run all surveys that I take?
- No! Sometimes Netverdix will pass you to a survey that is being hosted by one of our partners. You are passed out of the Netverdix system and into a partner site. The partner site WILL NOT collect any personally identifiable information and Netverdix keeps all personal information confidential and will only provide it to a partner in an aggregated form.
I am taking a survey and my answers are not being accepted. I keep getting an error message when I submit the page that tells me my answers are invalid. What do I do?
- Double check that you are answering the question in the proper format. The question might state that it only accepts numerical answers and you are entering letters or it might require an answer to every field and you are leaving some fields blank. After you have checked the format of the question and if you have determined that there is still a problem, please contact us at panelistservice@netverdix.com and provide as much information about the survey as possible and we will investigate further.
I saw your name on a list of companies that say “Get Paid to Take Surveys” or in an ad that says you can make money by taking surveys. When I checked, it asked me to buy a list of survey companies. Is this true?
- Unfortunately, Netverdix cannot monitor every company that offers these sorts of lists nor can we keep our name off every list. There are many companies that claim that you can make up to $100 per survey. These companies typically charge you for a list of survey companies. We are not affiliated with any of these companies and make no promises of payment amount on a per survey basis. We do offer cash incentives for all qualifying surveys but do not promise that everyone will qualify for every survey.
Who do I contact if I am unable to find an answer to my question in the FAQ section?
